Bridging Man to the World Beyond

Coming at you from my little happy corner of the world to yours! If you’ll allow me a few moments of your time, I’ll take you with me on an adventure that you’ll love to hear about: it’s about an invisible bridge that has been built and only certain people can see it and even cross it. Can you believe it!? We’ll get into the details as we move forward.

But first, let’s start by taking a look at this picture here and focus on a bridge that we all can actually see. Named the Tilikum Crossing Bridge, this spectacular structure is located in Portland, Oregon and was built in 2011 and was completed by 2014. Isn’t it neat! It stands so elegant at day and at night, LED lights emit from the bridge cables. Have you had the privilege of walking over a bridge or driving over one to get to a certain destination? I can only assume that you have, since bridges are needed everywhere we go. As a matter of fact, I have walked over many bridges and driven over some rather amazing views of bridges with stellar lights. You just can’t substitute the feeling of crossing over a bridge! The fresh air on your face and the scenery below- it’s something else!

We all know what a bridge is made for. It’s a structure built to overcome a physical obstacle, such as a valley, a road, railroad, or any body of water that is in the way of getting from one place to another. There are countless of designs being made all the time, with each one looking intricately complex. And although each one is different in its own right, they come together to serve a purpose, having a common factor: to solve a major issue-a means of getting from point A to point B. Building bridges allow us the freedom to connect two places on Earth that, otherwise, would not be possible because of the disconnect from one landmark to another.

Construction of Tilikum Crossing cost $134.6 million, paid for by federal grants, state revenue and TriMet, the owner of this bridge. Many millions of dollars went into construction of this project, and then it was opened in 2015, taking years to complete this man-made structure. As we can see, bridges are very important to fill in the gap between two areas that are separated, as it is a passageway that connects us with more people and places that we want to go visit, no matter the cost.

But enough of the bridges we can see, let’s talk now about the one I mentioned earlier-the bridge that is intangible, meaning we cannot physically see. We’re here to discuss that bridge and its cost is worth way more than $134.6 million dollars. In fact, we cannot add a dollar amount to it since it is priceless! It was perfectly beautiful before, but got torn down and then it was rebuilt in 3 DAYS and it is an everlasting bridge that can never be brought down by anything ever again! It stands tall, higher than any other prestigious bridge you’ve ever seen. Nothing can measure up. I speak about this bridge as not a physical structure developed by man, but as a metaphor. The bridge I am referring to is Our Holy Savior Jesus Christ! He is the intercessor that will allow us to get to God. This is the truth as seen here in the Bible.

Hebrews 12:24 (New Living Translation: NLT) says, ‘You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel.

Do you want to go to Heaven with God? Are you willing to cross the bridge? Jesus is waiting for you to make that decision for yourself. Are you going to take up the offer of life? The bridge has been built. Jesus did that when He died on the cross. He became our Savior. He is who bridges us home toward the light. We don’t have to stay behind in the dark because there is a way to go to Heaven and this is how! Accepting Jesus as your Savior. It’s a totally free gift of life💯% that was born out of love from God who loves you, but you must to do your part as well. It is one thing.

<<<B. E. L. I. E. V. E.>>> Believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

This is all God is asking from you. Do you believe in God? Do you believe in Jesus? Do you believe that God sent Jesus and that Jesus is Heaven-sent from God? Do you believe that Jesus is God’s son? All these are great questions to ask yourself? When you answer them, you will then lead up to asking a new one. Do I have faith? Because faith is the connection that will draw you close to the Lord, you don’t need a cell phone to call Him. 📱 You don’t need a phone at all ☎️ You just need faith! Jesus is the line that will connect you to God. Have faith and you will be connected to God who formed you. Talk to Him about everything that’s going on in your life. God loves you very much that He didn’t want for you to burn in Hell, so instead He gave you Jesus. He made a way for your soul to be saved. Jesus is that bridge that will connect you and lead you to Glory. Jesus is the Way to everlasting life. O, Sweet Jesus! Hallelujah!

In Romans 3: 23-26 (New Living Translation: NLT) it goes on to say, ‘For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, 26 for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.

Choosing Jesus Always,
