The Lord is My Rock

My Prayer to the Lord

Dear Father God Who Art in Heaven,

Thank you for who You are. Thank you Lord for what You do. You create, You give, and You take away. O, my Lord I worship You alone; no other god is like You but You God. Only You are my rock and my salvation. You have made a way for me to be with You and that is through Your Son, Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I will forever be grateful. My soul is elated and I can rest a smile on my face because of Your goodness. Thank you for giving me life and rescuing me from the eternal fire I was facing for my sin. Jesus, thank you for taking my place and paying the price for my sins. I am made new with You and now walk in Your light, for I have left all my past behind me and I walk straight in all of my ways. You are merciful. You are full of beauty, extending to me undeserving grace. Lord, I know that I do not deserve all of this but thank you for having compassion over me. I can never repay You; for I am nothing without You. I am a sinner, but You are my rock, my fortress, in whom I will delight in and I will always sing to You and worship You, Father God. There is no other that deserves to be praised. You are the living God and my soul will dwell with You because I am Yours eternally. With Your hand, You have made me so wonderfully like Your word says! You are holy, O Lord God Almighty. I know that in Your eyes, I am valued and that is why You made a way to bring me back to You. You gave me and everyone of us Jesus. I will treasure the free gift of salvation found only in Jesus Christ who died for me on the cross. I can never say how grateful I am for your mercies, my Sovereign Lord. I love You and I cherish You so dearly. With all my love, I will continue to shine my light; the light that You have placed within me, to share amongst this dark, evil, and lost world. Be with me as I am with You God, and help me as I continue to do Your will in my life. I pray all of this in the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen.
